Cop.a.v. was founded in 1974, on the initiative of 29 single-vehicle companies, mainly operating with box trucks in the transport of foodstuffs, with the aim of carving out a significant space in the container transport sector, sensing that it would be the "future" for the national and international movement of goods. In 1989 it inaugurated its headquarters in Fiorenzuola d'Arda (Piacenza) consisting of an equipped area of 27,500 square meters, with a warehouse for transshipment and storage of any type of material, boxes for equipment shelter, parking and container handling. In 2003 it landed in Milan Rogoredo, where it bought a container transport company, controlling its operations to be present also in the Lombard capital, a strategic point to land new orders and to intercept always new transport flows.
